President Abraham Lincoln

Today is the celebration of Abraham Lincoln’s birthday.  Abraham Lincoln has always been my favorite President.  The one thing that impressed me most about him is his times of prayer and use of Scripture in conversations and speeches on a regular basis.  Here are some of my favorite quotes:

“Whatever you are, be a good one.”

“Those who deny freedom to others, deserve it not for themselves; and, under a just God, can not long retain it.”

“Common looking people are the best in the world: that is the reason the Lord makes so many of them.”
